Great family day out tipp: Dinosaur encounters (Dublin)

Although labeled as an animatronic exhibition, the current exhibition DINOSAUR ENCOUNTER at the Ambassador on Dublin's Parnell Square, is more than just a place where prehistoric dinosaurs come alive.

It is a great place to learn about the great beasts such as T-Rex or Triceratops. There are corners for kids where they can draw dinos to their heart's content and the exhibition comes with an informative FREE souvenir guide.

Although the exhibition is a bit on the small side, it is well worth the Euro 10,- admission fee.

For an extra tenner one can get a funny photo (1 large and 4 small ones actually) with an attacking dino thanks to the wonders of green screen photography.
