March 2009 Schedule updates

All shows in March are now being fully scheduled and confirmed by all appearing guests:

06.03.2009 Laura Broxton from the National Animal Rights Association (NARA) will be joining Thomas Janak in the studio to talk and discuss NARA's past and future campaigns. Thomas will also be talking to CELT (Educational Environment Charity)CEO Bob Wilson about their work during a phone interview.

13.03.2009 Film- and TV Production students will be live in the studio to give their own views on animal welfare, furthermore Thomas will be phone-interviewing Jenny Douglas from Vita.ie about their "Buy a miracle tree" campaign.

20.03.2009 "Vegetarianism Pro and Con" will focus on the mentioned topic. Live guests will be Derren Hogarty (Vegetarian) and The Digital Hub FMs Paul Dunne (Ex - Vegetarian)

27.03.2009 Gill Brady from the Celtic Animal Life Line (CALL) will be live in the studio

Quality Control

At the Digital Hub we are always keen on improving our shows whereever possible. Joe Harrington, a programming director for a commercial radio station, offered his advise to all participants at the Digital Hub FM. His input was appreciated.

Back on air and updates ...

We're back on air as of today for 30 fridays this year, YEAH!!! - The studio itself is even bigger now!

The first three weeks of March have now being scheduled as well:

06.03.2009 NARA's Laura Broxton will be back live in the studio

13.03.2009 Film and TV Production Students from the DIGITAL HUB will be joining Thomas Janak live in the studio to give their own points of view to all things animal and nature related.


20.03.2009 VEGETARIANISM - PRO's and CON's, with studio guests Paul Dunne from the Digital Hub and Derren Hogarty from Babylon Radio.



It was good to see and talk to Joanie and Thommy from the morning show ...
... and to see them working away in our new, soundproof studio
The buiding also houses a cafe

Updates

Currently there is a lot going on behind the scenes as Thomas Janak is waiting for confirmation from Avian Solutions UK and the London Aquarium to phone-interview them about their work during WILD TIME in early March.

February 2009 is fully scheduled and we're back on air tomorrow week, Friday February 20th 11am GMT

ARAN protest cancelled due to poor weather conditions

With heavy snowfall arriving in the country, the traffic in all of the republic has come to a complete standstill.

The bad weather also affects the planned protest against hare coursing scheduled for Wednesday, February 4th 2009 by the Animal Rights Action Network (ARAN.

Due to mentioned conditions the event has had to be cancelled.
